Cherry Ripe Balls
Ingredients
- 6 x 52g Cherry Ripe bars
- 1 x 250g Arnott’s Marie or Arrowroot biscuits
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tin sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup desiccated coconut
- Red or pink food colouring
Instructions
- Chop 3 Cherry Ripe bars into 1 cm pieces and set aside.
- In a food processor, blitz the biscuits until they form fine crumbs. Add the cocoa powder and pulse a few times to combine.
- Cut the remaining Cherry Ripe bars into quarters and add them to the food processor. Blitz until they are in small pieces, then pour the crumbs into a large bowl.
- Add the condensed milk and the Cherry Ripe pieces from step 1 to the bowl. Stir with a large spoon until well combined.
- In a snap-lock bag, add the coconut along with a few drops of food coloring. Shake and rub the food coloring into the coconut until evenly combined, then pour it into a small bowl.
- Using heaped teaspoons, roll the Cherry Ripe mixture into balls, then coat them in the colored coconut.
- Place the balls on a tray and refrigerate until chilled.
Notes
If you don't have a food processor, place the biscuits into a large snap lock bag and crush with a rolling pin
