Fruit and Nut Bark

Our Fruit and Nut Chocolate Bark is a quick and easy treat that combines the rich flavours of chocolate with the natural sweetness of dried fruits and the satisfying crunch of nuts. Perfect for gifting or enjoying at home, this bark is a versatile and delicious way to treat yourself and others.

Ingredients

  • 280g bag chocolate melts
  • 2 tablespoons of each fruit or nut you wish to add. Make sure they are all roughly chopped.
  • (I chose roasted almonds, pepitas, sunflower seeds, dried apple, dried cranberries and coconut flakes)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Melt chocolate in a small microwave safe bowl for 60 secs medium heat. Stir. Continue heating at 30 second intervals medium heat until chocolate is melted. Stir between each interval.
  3. Evenly spread chocolate over your lined baking tray
  4. Quickly sprinkle dried fruit and nuts over chocolate. Work quickly before the chocolate sets (especially if you are in a cold climate)
  5. Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour or until set.
  6. When it has hardened, remove from the fridge and snap off pieces of bark to desired size.

Notes

Chocolate bark variations:  Below is a list of options you can select when making bark. 

🍫 chocolate: milk, dark or white chocolate melts

🍫 dried fruits: apricot, apple, sultanas, cranberries, blueberries, cherries, goji berries 

🍫 nuts: almonds, cashews, macadamias, pecans, pistachios or peanuts 

🍫 coconut flakes 

🍫 seeds:  Pepitas or sunflower seeds
